An Un-Extraordinary Tale is a level designed for Warcraft 3 using Warcraft World Editor. The level has my own original story which follows a skilled samurai, Mike. One day Mike is ordered by his King to travel to the far Kingdom of Omega to uncover the truth behind the news of an incoming invasion from the Omega Kingdom. Mike, along with his fellow samurais must go on a journey through the dense dangerous forest, scaling mighty mountains & danger dark lurking caves to save his own kingdom. This is the story of Mike's journey to the Omega Kingdom and the horrifying truth that he uncovers over there.
The level mostly focuses on fighting against bandits who are creating trouble for other people. The level has 1 main path and 2 side paths, with each side path having a side quest each. The player is rewarded with an item upon successful completion of a side quest. The level also has 3 unique puzzles and each puzzle has a simple riddle. The player must solve the riddle to find the solution for the puzzle.
The level is played through Top-down as well as a Third Person perspective. Third person perspective is used while the player is scaling through mighty mountains to let him/her take a break and enjoy the breathtaking views. It's also used in caves to provide a better perspective of venturing into something unknown. The level also has multiple cut-scenes to convey the story of the game.
